Almost done with my article on Prof Aleksandra Filipovska, working from my laptop in San Francisco!
But as a new Wikipedia editor, I'm stuck on two (probably simple) issues: - how do I give my article a title? It currently says 'User:(my user name) /sandbox' where the title usually is. - now I've submitted my draft for review, I have the message 'This may take several weeks, to over a month. The Articles for creation process is severely backlogged. Please be patient. There are 2429 submissions waiting for review.' Is there a way I can share my draft in the meantime for feedback from others?
Thank you for any advice!

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like you might have developed this page in your sandbox. Copy and paste the work you've done and save it in Word or similar, then go to a new tab and search for the name of the person you are writing a profile for: en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?searchAssuming the name doesn't already come up, it should give you an option to create a page for that topic/person. Click with that and then once the new page is created, you can copy/paste your content from your other draft in sections, saving the draft section by section, piece by piece, as you go. Once you're done and submitted, email the team at events@science.org.au with the link to your draft and they can fast track it. Good luck!

The better way would have been to 'move' the page to article space. That preserves the edit history. See:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:How_to_move_a_page
